Alright as you all know i’m sure. I do a radio show Wednesdays for 6 hours. I never really did post the terms and such. (meaning like whats allowed to be played, etc) The post goes for honestly new followers. Some people are BRAND NEW to this and need to know how it works.
1. The radio show is from 10:00 AM-4:00 PM EST- NEW YORK CITY TIME. and is every wednesday for all summer. 6 hours of ALL METAL.
2. The radio show is a METAL Freeform request show. Meaning you make the show with your song requests. I DO NOT WANT TO PLAY MY OWN MUSIC SO PLEASE SEND ME AS MUCH METAL SONG REQUESTS AS YOU CAN ON THE WEDNESDAY SHOW.
3. To listen to the radio show on wednesday. Go toWWW.WMSCRADIO.COM and you will see the Video/MP3 player on the right. Click play to hear me live, playing your music/promoing your blog.
4. To send me a metal song request. Go to M3talgods.tumblr.com/ask and send me the artist, and name of the song. I WILL POST IT PUBLICALLY.
5. The Song request MUST BE METAL. NO EXCEPTIONS. I have to keep at a particular format in order to keep my show on air from my manager as well. And I don’t want requesters debating others saying “HEY THATS NOT METAL WHAT YOU MAKING HIM PLAY THAT FOR?”
6. Genres of metal you may request- Heavy, Power, Thrash, Black, Death, Viking, Folk, Doom, Sludge, Stoner, Symphonic, Experimental, Progressive, Melodic Death, Metalcore, Industrial, Crossover, neo-classical, Japanese metal. Nu-metal/Rap metal IS NOT ACCEPTED. Alternative as well depending what it is. If its something like Strapping young lad, VERY acceptable. If its SOAD or A7X. NO. Just like i said 99% of metal i usually play. :3
7. DEATHCORE IS UNACCEPTABLE. Post-Hardcore is not acceptable. Nintendo-or w/e fuck core it is, is NOT acceptable.
IT IS NOT A GENRE OF METALCORE. IF YOU ASK FOR IT ON ANON. I WILL PUT YOU ON TRIAL BY ALL LISTENERS TO DECIDE IF THEY WANT IT. *Everyone who has listened will 99% say no* Example: An anon requested godsmack for nu metal. I asked to play or not for everyone. 3 of my best listeners said no to it. :P
And i am letting EVERYONE KNOW THIS RIGHT NOW. THIS IS NOT ON DISCRIMINATORY TERMS. I am just keeping the show as OLD SCHOOL METAL as i can.
8. I want EVERYONE to enjoy the show, so if you have long songs. PLEASE ask me before the 2:30 mark. So if you want to request a long song like…a power metal story song, or a progressive solo song, or a doom chill song thats long and awesome, just tell me before so we got PLENTY of time to play your other songs :).
9. Around the 3:00 PM Mark, I will be doing less talking promos, so if you want your tumblr name to be promoed, ask me right before the 3:00 PM mark.
10. ALL SONGS WILL BE PLAYED IN SEQUENCE THEY ARE ASKED. So do NOT think i ignored it when i said “up next” and you don’t hear it. I will tell you the song that is being played.
11. If you are listening in and ready for your song request, PLEASE reblog your video. I feel HORRIBLE if you don’t hear it and it was played :(.
12. If you have a band that wants to be promoed. PLEASE Send me your music file via Skype and i will play it! :D! If you have a video on youtube, link me it! :) I will play it! :)
13. If lets say you made like 10 requests in a row, but 4 different peeps requested music right after. I will play 1-2 songs FIRST for you, then the others in that particular order. THEN play your other requests, then play the different ones, so that way no one is left out. :o
14. If you are in a different time zone and can come up at a certain time, and want at least one song played on air live for you, please tell me! Work and school fucking suck i understand :(. So please let me know!
15. If you have ANY CONCERNS via reblogging videos, or a particular version you wanted, LET ME KNOW. I will change it! :D
